About This Calendar:
It highlight 53 BIPOC* and/or LGBTQ2SIA+** womxn leaders -- past and present -- from Oregon and Tribal Nations. We’re focusing on these leaders because we’re called to move beyond the dominant narratives of leadership, particularly on this 100th year of women’s suffrage.
The histories and experiences of the womxn in this calendar highlight an expansive and generative leadership -- they are artists, advocates, organizers, healers, and instigators. Some of them are the first, but they will certainly not be the last. We hope that you enjoy learning alongside us every week as we honor the lineage of leadership that runs through the communities of these incredible womxn.
